EPISODE 03 - KNOWING MUMU
In the dark clouds, our eyes see the leaves flying in the air, as time moves to three and a half, it's like a baby crying. As shown in cinemas, we thought of the goblin as a green creature that will be spooky but instead, we did not see this creature as portrayed there. Everyone insisted to take the initiative but none came forward except George. He is very excited to know the origin of it more than any of us.
"Let's not leave the creature as it is, maybe some medications?" asked Anna. "But holding therapy is only for us, not for goblins!" responded George. Max became furious about it and asked about the presence of me and Anna there. I said, "Let me explain it in the tent." Now our primary focus is on how to treat the goblin. We decided not to waste time and proceeded with human medications to it as forced by George after taking it to our tents.
The goblin doesn't seem to be big, in dark we found that its sandal in color, with small hair on its body. Like its hair, its other parts of the body are also small. Anna is worrying that she threw wood at a small goblin which seemed like a five to six-year-old child. Katara took a medical kit from her tent and started medications for it. But however, its wound is not set up, instead, it's started growing. Everyone is shocked after seeing the wound start multiplying in its body😱
Even the curious person George is frightened by seeing it. "What can we do now?" said Katara. Max responded that we have to leave it as we tried our best. I asked whether other medications can help it. "But we don't have anything other than this" said Anna. Max again asked about the reason for our presence outside the tent. Then I narrated the story in short time and terms.
"Give me an Olive leave! Give me now! now!"
But our voices won't sound like this! Who is it? Yes!! It is the Goblin. It is speaking! But that isn't so creepy but sweet like a child. Everybody is shocked. "Don't waste time you idiots! Give me now!", it shouted again. I remember where the olive leaves are, I ran to it, took a small amount, and handed it to the goblin with fear. Not only me, but all of us are also in fear. We didn't speak to it, as we just noticed the happenings. Its behavior doesn't seem to be different but not always.
It started rubbing the leaves on its wound... It increased the speed, increased, increased........... AND!! The wound disappeared in seconds! as it is another shock to us. It seems that it is now off the wounds. "How could you speak English? Who are you? What do you want from us? Where are you from? Are you here to kill us?" Max started questioning it. The goblin just looked up, with an uncertain look, "Who was beaten? you or me?" asked the goblin. "Obviously you!", "Then shut your mouth!" replied the goblin in return.
We see the goblin used Olive leaves to cure it, So I thought that something big is there in this jungle other than the Nile. "You are right!" said the Goblin. I am stunned again. How could it hear my mind? "I can hear everything now, so mind your mind", it said. Everybody is in shock as it started to reply to others' head voices and was amazed to see its wounds disappear as it became normal.
Everybody asked questions about it but Anna went to it and apologized for beating it. She said that she thought it was a dangerous creature and apologized again. "It is common for humans", it replied. "Why are these Olive leaves here?" I asked. It replied that I will get to know it soon. We continuously started asking questions about it and it got irritated and started to introduce itself. "I am Mustanza Murafora, the youngest boy in our community, I don't usually talk to humans, but because of this girl I am responding to you." It pointed out Anna. It said that just because of Anna's apology it is speaking to us.
"I am from Easton, one of the great cities of the goblin community. I sustained from your attack because of the olive leaves as it is one of the best medicines in our city." When asked about its ability to read our minds, it said that it has this ability only between morning 3 to 4 and everybody in its community has this ability for a certain period according to their wish. It added that their village has a Nova, an enlightened being that has no name and address and it was Nova who grant them such powers. And too, it was Nova's instruction to search the rings here.
"That is the thing which made me out of the tent", I exclaimed. "That is the thing that made me run!" said the goblin. "Which? the rings?", "No, you!" as it doesn't want to see humans. It added that it is afraid of humans as humans killed the goblin's parents, and also it hated humans. "But after seeing Anna, I understood that not all humans are bad," It said that it just came to find those rings. We all asked about the ring but it denied by saying, "You will come to know!"
In the beginning, we all stared at and were scared of the goblin but because of its sweet nature, it became one of our friends. It began to narrate its stories in the Easton. However, it didn't say a whole lot but added some interesting tales. We actually came to know about the goblin's life and too our relationship was made stronger.
"Mustanza Murafora..... It seems to be so big, Why can't it be Mumu?" said Katara. "Mumu😍 I like it very much." said the goblin and we started calling it Mumu. It's now seven. Mumu said that it was time to leave as it didn't find the ring and we too felt bad to miss Mumu. We like it very much but it's time to leave. We gave the Santa cap back to Murmu which fall on us when we saw it first. "But how will you leave? You have missed your fellow mates, we made them run away" said Anna. Mumu smiled and made a different sound.........
We could hear the same sound from the opposite but not as an echo. All the trees are shaking at great speeds. I am not in fear now, but eager to see what is going to happen......
"Not to call the big, but the bigs at my age!" said Mumu.
Making different sounds, with huge air blown, something strange happened.....
In the place where we stand, the surrounding, we see some saplings coming from the ground. It is not a usual plant as it is white in color. Everything in the saplings is white. The sapling turned into a plant, the plant turned into small trees, and at last, they became huge trees........
From the top of those trees, sliding in its branches came three goblins as same as Mumu. They said, "Let's move Mustanza!" But Mumu did not want to leave us as it became our friend. Mumu ran fast to them and said something in one of the three's ears. And that goblin looked at us... It asked, "Like to be visitors in Easton?"
We just saw one another and said, "YES!"
