VADA PAV
( A completely fictional Story )
"Even if you beg, I will not buy you those dishes." "Just keep quiet, okay?" a mother told her toddler who was asking for Vada Pav. "It's my favourite dish, Mom, please buy me one..." His mother denied it yet again. It started to sound the same... At one point, the child became agitated, yelled, hopped here and there, and was accidentally smacked by the edge of the seat, resulting in tears...Ohhhh😯 This entire event was unfolding directly in front of Keshav's eyes, and he was paying close attention!
Keshav just took the child, sat him on his lap, dried his tears, and promised to buy him a Vada Pav. "Please don't get me wrong, sir," the child's mother begged. "No worries, ma'am, he's just a kid." Keshav just walked him through the pantry and purchased his favourite food. It smelled delicious, a large loaf of bread covered by coriander toppings and wrapped in a brown cover! It seemed like déjà vu!!😵😵
His eyes widened when he received the plate; he checked his pockets, took a snapshot, and texted it to Shalini..... "I bet you and I can't get married without these💖", she answered. Yeah! This is why the pair met in college for the first time! Oh.. Oh.. Oh.. Keshav's phone is ready to fall since the train abruptly halted, leaving out a jerk! But he quickly recovered his phone and placed it in his pocket. He realized he had arrived at Kharagpur at around 5:00 PM.
Keshav stepped out, freshened himself, bought a new water bottle with some snacks, waved a 'hello' to the toddler kid, and jumped aboard the train as quickly as he could, because the train would only be stopped for 5 minutes at the Kharagpur station... So Keshav ran inside the train, remembering his first meeting with Shalini.......................................
💨💨💨💨💨💨
It was a foggy evening in our urban "ragging college," which had a clearly visible anti-ragging board! Every weekend, our seniors will pick two students at random (1 male and 1 girl) and hold a Vada Pav (typically larger than regular size) eating battle between the two students without them facing each other! The rule is that if they both finish 30 Vada Pavs, they can depart without knowing or seeing each other's faces... If that fails, the student who ate the least amount of Vada Pav must take the other out on a shopping day off!!😰
Surprisingly, that was me on that particular day! They put larger Vada Pavs in front of me, and I'm ready to devour! On the other hand, we can't seem to locate the individual! I started eating as fast as I could, and everyone was encouraging me, saying, "Come on! "Only 20 left, only 18 left!" Oh! Mine is overflowing! I couldn't eat anymore, I was like a long breath, gasping, and in the end I dropped onto the ground after eating 17 Vada Pavs! My thoughts tell me that I will win because the record is sixteen large Vada Pavs............. But!
The other person ate twenty! The plates had come off! My pals dragged me up and forced me to stand where the opposing person is celebrating a triumph, and the curtain is raised!
There was a girl, wearing a yellow T Shirt with brown jeans............ sparkling bangles covering her hands....... Coolers covering her Kajal eyes........ lips smiling on victory....... on hand on her hips.... other on a snow spray coming towards me........ Only a white snow splash on the eyes of me....... I finally heard the masses yelling, Shalini......
