GIFT(S)

( A Completely fictional Story )


It's 6:10 p.m., and the Superfast Express has arrived at Bhadhrak station after a quite long journey of 1649 miles... Anita was about to go for her seat at Jajpur Keonjhar Road station, but Shalini asked to stay with her because no one had arrived for the seat. "I'm exhausted Shalini, I've been here for nearly two hours yaar!" Shalini immediately said, "You've only been here for two hours, but it's been a day for me, and I'm twice as tired as you!"

Then they both got off at the Bhadhrak station and filled themselves on coffee. She returned the cup and saucer to the booth after finishing the coffee, only to discover that the ring on her finger was gone! "What happened to my finger?" Shalini yelled... "What do that suppose to mean??" Anita retorted. "I mean....... where is the ring on my finger?" Shalini joined Anita in her hunt. They looked everywhere but couldn't find it..... Shalini burst into tears.😥

Its been 10 minutes they have been searching for... but nothing found! Suddenly a voice, "Its over here!" "Where was it Anithaaaa?" Oops! Its not Anitha, Its the old lady, in the stall, who gave them coffee!😧 "Shalini, the ring fell over the coffee cup which you drank, have it with you!" Shalini thanked the lady lot, but wait a minute! "How did you get my name?" 

The old lady said............ "Dear Shalini know that even if time gives you a chance, fate won't, Oh Lord Keshava!"  Shalini was left perplexed and when she went to ask further, there was the horn sound, Anitha grabbed her and went into the train.  They both left Bhadhrak station, sharp at 6:24 p.m seeing the old lady smiling at Shalini!😦 

"Please don't collapse!" That's simply an elderly lady; she could have gone insane. Just keep calm!" But that lady...... "SHALU, STOP IT! "I'm done with those conversations!"  Anitha further made her calm and bought her a Candy to eat. It took nearly 10 minutes as Shalini was cooled down! "So, you were obsessed when you lost the ring, Was that gifted by Keshav?" "Yeah it is! The gift came to my hands, at the time of proposal" Anitha was surprised to hear that..... "When was it happened?"

It was the time, where evening and night collides, On Feb14, 2019....  In the sands of backshore, where three seas collide😍........ myself watching the sunset, which seemed to be a rise.......  at the point where birds fly on a flock above me.......... I see a tall man wearing a white shirt covered by a red coat........... having a bouquet in his hand.......... whose presence made the salt breeze a sweet one....... He came, put his knees down.... presented the bouquet and said, "No matter how dull you are, as many times as you want, Keshav is ready to bloom you as fresh as these flowers of this bouquet! And this guy will hold you forever in his arms, as tight without loosing the lightness of  my flower! Now, Will you be my flower?"

That's where I lost myself by clutching his hands, where the ring passed from Keshav to me! "That's incredible, wish I could get this kind of proposal", said Anita. So, Shalini, he gifted himself to you, but how did you confess yourself to him?  I have done it many times before, but you know, those are all kind of a small things... Today, as soon as I see him, I would present the best gift ever which is packed inside the same box of this ring💞
